In other news….. Famous American rapper Kanye West has publicly apologized once more for his previous anti-Semitic comments.
His statement, titled “To Those I Have Hurt”, appeared in the print edition of the Wall Street Journal on Monday.
In the apology, West linked his past behavior to a brain injury he suffered more than 25 years ago in a car accident. The message, which was marked as “Paid for by Yeezy,” according to Daily Mail, was personally signed by the rapper.
West explained, “Twenty-five years ago, I was involved in a car accident that broke my jaw and caused damage to the right frontal lobe of my brain. At the time, no thorough scans were conducted, and neurological examinations were limited. The possibility of frontal-lobe injury was never considered. It was properly diagnosed only in 2023. This medical oversight significantly affected my mental health and contributed to my bipolar type-1 diagnosis.”
This renewed apology comes nearly three years after Kanye West’s initial attempt to make amends was rejected by the Jewish organization StopAntisemitism.
