A Nigerian hair vendor has called out her sales representative for allegedly stealing an expensive Brazilian wig from her store, an incident that was caught on video and widely shared on TikTok.
In the video, the vendor recounted how she received a phone call from a passerby who claimed to have seen her sales rep walking around with a wig and handbag that matched the vendor’s belongings. Acting on the tip-off, she quickly returned to her shop to investigate.
To her dismay, the accusation proved true. The vendor confronted the staff member and filmed her holding the allegedly stolen items, including a high-end bone straight wig.
Visibly upset, the vendor expressed her frustration with hiring shop attendants, blaming repeated thefts as the reason she prefers to work alone.
She was heard saying in Pidgin: “You leave people in your store and they steal from you. Look at what my sales girl took—this bone straight wig. Someone called me to say they saw her with my bag. You steal and then hide your face. This is why I avoid employing sales reps.”
