In a video circulating on social media, the man expressed frustration about what he described as the growing hardship faced by many Nigerians.
He said:
“Nigerian government, thank you for weaponizing poverty against us, we really appreciate it. Imagine someone celebrating just because they can eat three meals a day or have enough electricity, things that should be basic amenities.”
The man argued that access to food, electricity, and other essential services should be normal for citizens and not something people have to celebrate.
His comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians agreeing with his concerns about the cost of living and basic infrastructure in the country.
