Nigerian Couple Welcomes Twins After 10 Years, Shares Emotional Documentary

A Nigerian couple has moved countless people to tears with a heartfelt documentary that chronicles the arrival of their twins, Naku and Zisa, after ten years of waiting to become parents.

In the film, they reflect on their journey from their wedding day and years of unanswered prayers to the unforgettable moment their children were born. The couple recalled how, almost immediately after their marriage, relatives and neighbours began asking when they would start a family. Days turned into months, months into years, and ultimately a decade before their hopes were fulfilled.

The husband recounted the tense moments in the delivery room, explaining that his wife gave birth via caesarean section a situation he described as the most frightening experience of his life. Determined to be by her side, he stayed in the theatre as a joyous occasion quickly became a fight for survival.

Soon after giving birth, his wife was rushed into emergency surgery. In the first few days postpartum, she endured four major operations. The couple credits their strong faith and deep love for one another for helping them endure the ordeal as doctors worked tirelessly to save her.

When sharing the video on YouTube, they wrote: “After a decade of longing for a child, our dream finally came true. But our joy was shattered when my wife was rushed into emergency surgery immediately after birth. This video is the raw testimony of our journey through four agonizing surgeries in her first days of life. We held onto our faith and each other as doctors fought to save her. Our story is proof that a love anchored in faith can survive any storm.”

Their testimony has since inspired thousands, drawing messages of support, prayers, and admiration from viewers who were deeply moved by their perseverance.
