“Nigeria will always be in my blood” – American Singer Shaboozey Declares

American country music sensation Shaboozey has proudly embraced his Nigerian heritage, stating that Nigeria will always remain a part of him.

Born Collins Obinna Chibueze to Nigerian parents in Woodbridge, Virginia, the artist recently shared a heartfelt message on his X page, reflecting on his roots and cultural identity.

As his international fame continues to rise, fans around the world have shown admiration for his Nigerian background, celebrating the connection he maintains with his ancestry.

“This one feels like a homecoming,” he wrote. “Virginia raised me, but Nigeria will always be in my blood.”

In other news…. Nigerian music star Davido has faced increased scrutiny and backlash on social media recently, particularly on Twitter. He’s found himself in a series of heated exchanges, often involving supporters of fellow Afrobeats artist, Wizkid.

In the latest incident, a critic took things a step further by targeting Davido’s family over their use of private jets. While many expected him to ignore the insult, Davido reacted strongly, and one of his fans tried to intervene, advising him to disregard the troll.

This advice didn’t sit well with the singer, who expressed frustration and even threatened to unfollow some fans. Realizing she may have upset him, the fan quickly apologized, clarifying that she meant no harm and pleaded with him not to unfollow her.

To her surprise, Davido replied with kindness. He told her to send him a direct message because he wanted to help her set up a shop. She followed his instructions and later shared a screenshot of their conversation, which showed Davido asking how much the shop would cost and requesting her account details.

This isn’t the first time the award-winning singer has shown such generosity. He recently gifted another Twitter user N5 million just to change her hairstyle.
