The Chief Executive Officer of NetNaija, Emmanuel Analike, has been arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja over alleged copyright infringement.
Analike was arraigned on multiple counts by the Nigerian Copyright Commission for allegedly possessing, reproducing, and distributing pirated movies and music through the NetNaija website.
During the court proceedings, the NetNaija boss pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.
Following his plea, the court ordered that he be remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre pending the determination of his bail application.
The court adjourned the case and scheduled March 9 for the ruling on his bail request.
