Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke alias Davido is being celebrated for being a pace setter in the Nigerian music industry.
The DMW boss turned a new age on November 21, 2022 and fans as well as colleagues took to social media to mark his special day in different ways.
While some penned heartfelt words, others shared videos and pictures of fond memories they shared with Davido in the past.
All these were also done as a way of showing moral support to the singer who is still mourning the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
A music content creation page @wetalksound unearthed a record making moment of the Fem crooner where he appeared as the first Nigerian artiste on A Colors Show in 2016.
He performed an acoustic version of his song, Skelewu which was released in that same year.
The post reads; ”Did you know Davido’s Colors Show in 2016 was the first ever appearance from a Nigerian? The 001 for real 💎”
After his 2016 performance, the next time a Nigerian musician appeared on A Colours show, was three years later. Tiwa Savage was the artiste who performed next and it was in 2019.
Fans reacted to the post with excitement.
