Actress, Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, recently graced students and staffs of Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka with their presence and the reception was completely overwhelming for them.
In a series of videos shared by Regina on her IG story , The movie star and her hubby were spotted cramped up in the middle of the excited students who could not stop screaming in excitement, over the presence of the celebrity couple in their midst.
Nwoko was Special Guest of Honor at the launching of the DELSU Student’s Union Government, SUG Entrepreneurial Community.
The politician delivered a lecture on the economy and insecurity during the event with theme: ‘Education and the New World.’
One of the major highlights of the event was an exciting moment Nwoko asked the students if Regina Daniels is the reason they got a wild reception.
After they took their seats on stage, Ned Nwoko was introduced and he was given a half-hearted cheer from the students. However, when Regina Daniels was introduced, the students could be heard cheering louder than they did when her husband was introduced.
The man who introduced the couple pointed out that the cheer was more when Regina got introduced and so Ned brought this up when he began his speech.
Ned Nwoko is heard saying,
“My friend here, the commissioner, said to me that your ovation when I entered here was because of my wife. Is it true?”
“Yes,” the students screamed in response.
And when he asked the students whether prefer if the mic be given to Regina instead for the speech, they shouted “Yes”.
