A young man has turned to social media to recount his two encounters with a criminal who robbed him of his belongings in Festac, Lagos state.
The man known on Twitter as @datchughuy stated he was robbed three weeks ago and only lately ran into one of the robbers.
According to him, the robber noticed him when he was driving, so he tapped his window and informed him that he was the person who robbed him a while back.
@datchughuy wrote; “I got robbed in Festac. 3 weeks after, one of the thieves saw me, knocked on my glass and hailed me, then said to me “you remember me?? Na we rob you that day”.”
Netizens found the story amusing and flooded the comment section to inquire about the seriousness of the matter.
@isntayo; And the cray thing is that I don’t even find this hard to believe. Is it not the same Lagos where they’ll rob you and ask you to say you’re not angry and you love them?
@ill_nojie; If you tell oyinbo this thing, them no go believe 😂😂😂
@ridbay; Thief dey remember your face? Maybe you’re the only one he robbed that year… Or He lives in your area and he’s been seeing you often before and after robbing you.
