Sheggz, a reality TV star, has defended his girlfriend, Bella Okagbue, against a wave of criticism directed at her speaking voice.
Sheggz took to X (formerly Twitter) to condemn the trend of impersonating accents and praised Bella for her sincerity.
Sheggz expressed his displeasure with the prevalent body shaming and negative comments directed at women in 2023, emphasising that such behaviour is unacceptable.
Sheggz defends girlfriend Bella against critics of her accent and body image.
He wrote in his tweet:
“So it’s now cool to be faking an accent. I love the fact that my woman is real, true to herself. I think it’s sad that in 2023 people want to body shame a woman and speak down on her. It will never be ok, and if she overreacted then it’s understandable because enough is enough.”
