Former Big Brother Naija star Kiddwaya has stated that his father, Terry Waya, was the one who discovered Banana Island in Lagos.

He revealed this during a recent episode of the Off The Record podcast.

When the host asked him, “I heard your dad discovered Banana Island. Is that true?” Kiddwaya responded, “Yes, I didn’t even know myself until I heard it while travelling.”

Terry Waya, Kiddwaya’s father, is a self-described billionaire with business interests across real estate, agriculture, and hospitality. His public profile grew even more during and after Kiddwaya’s participation in the 2020 Big Brother Naija show.
