The sister of Lieutenant A.M. Yerima, the naval officer who gained viral attention following a heated confrontation with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has publicly broken her silence amid the ongoing discourse.
Lieutenant Yerima has been trending online, with many social media users expressing support for his actions during the Tuesday incident where he and other military personnel prevented Wike and his entourage from accessing a parcel of land in the Gaduwa district of Abuja.
Lieutenant Yerima’s sister, identified as @QumarMrs on the platform X (formerly Twitter), expressed immense pride in her brother after repeatedly viewing the video of the confrontation. She shared her support in a tweet that quickly went viral:
“My brother made me so proud. we are just here eating koko and akara with this video on repeat. I promised to do his laundry for a month”.

it will be nice to know the officer that sent Yerima to guide land of a retired officer this should not have been an official assignment …..cheering your brother for confronting a Minister is actually nothing to be proud he is a soldier to protect the public and provide security not to guard a grab land ….you can do your brother’s laundry if you choose to make sure you also add his underwear ……after all you are his sister not his wife …..left to me alone your brother was guarding a stolen land by a superior .
