Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, a well-known Nigerian TikToker, has sparked a whirlwind of online debate by making some bombshell claims about the Actors Guild of Nigeria in a viral video.
VDM made the charges while making a pit stop at the hospital where seasoned actor John Okafor, or Mr. Ibu as we know him, is currently receiving treatment.
VDM began by dispelling the rumors that Bukola Saraki had come to Mr. Ibu’s aid with his medical expenditures.
He cleared the air, stating that the outstanding costs from the prior hospital where Mr. Ibu had been treated had been settled.*
Verydarkman publicly chastised Mr. Ibu’s co-stars and the AGN for falsely claiming to care for and support the actor before resorting to online pleading for help.
The social media critic painted a bleak picture of Mr. Ibu’s legs, detailing how his feet are in a state of severe decomposition, with maggots growing from the rotting flesh.
Martins revealed a bombshell in the video, revealing the astounding amount the AGN earned from well-meaning donors rallying for Mr. Ibu’s cause – a remarkable N5 million – but astonishingly, only a modest sum of N700,000 made its way to the veteran actor and his family.
