A woman has stirred widespread debate online after claiming that most men are secretly gay and do not genuinely like women.

In a viral post, she argued that many men show disinterest in women through their attitudes and behaviour. According to her, men often criticize women’s natural bodies, dismiss their interests as “cringe,” and treat spending time with them as an obligation rather than a desire.

She further suggested that when a man prioritizes spending time with his male friends over his girlfriend, it may indicate a lack of genuine affection. “If a guy has a girlfriend, and instead of date night with her, he genuinely wants to be with the boys… he doesn’t really like her,” she said.

The woman concluded that many men may not have fully recognized their sexuality, claiming that societal ideas about masculinity prevent them from accepting it.

Her remarks have attracted mixed reactions. While some social media users agreed with her perspective, others criticized the statement as an overgeneralization.

In other news…. Veteran Nigerian actor Francis Odega has shared his thoughts on the current state of Nollywood, saying the industry is not what it used to be.

Speaking on a recent episode of Where Is The Lie, Odega stated that Nollywood during his time was far better than what it is today.

He explained that in the past, a single script would produce one memorable film, but things have changed.

“Back then, one script would give us one unforgettable movie. But now, one script can give you seven bad movies, and that’s not right. Nollywood back then, is far better than the Nollywood of today,” the actor said.

Odega also described himself as one of the pioneers of Nollywood, noting that he was active in the industry before it became widely recognized.

“I was among of the people who made Nollywood. When we started, Nollywood was just a phenomenon. Our organisation used to be called Nigerian Actors Guild, NAG, before we later changed it to Actors’ Guild Of Nigeria, AGN.

“It was after then that Nollywood came. So, I am one of the pioneers of Nollywood. I have been in the movie industry for 30 years,” he explained.
