Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has intensified his campaign for justice over the death of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.

In a recent video, VDM accused Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, along with others, of forming a WhatsApp group supposedly created to champion Mohbad’s cause. He alleged that the group’s true intentions were not about justice, as they portrayed.

Following public pressure, VDM released additional screenshots from the alleged group chat, claiming that members were attempting to protect Wunmi, Mohbad’s widow, from being questioned by the authorities.

He highlighted a message in which Iyabo Ojo reportedly suggested a social media caption for members to post, claiming Wunmi had been interrogated three times. VDM countered this claim, stating that no police questioning had taken place at the time.

The activist went further to brand the group members as manipulators, accusing them of seeking donations under the guise of fighting for justice and allegedly targeting Mohbad’s assets.

Addressing criticism that he was defending Naira Marley, VDM explained that investigating Marley’s role was necessary to uncover the full truth about Mohbad’s death. He argued that focusing solely on the ex-label boss distracted from the events that might have led to the singer’s passing.

VDM also revealed a chat from Tonto Dikeh, in which she discussed leveraging international support as a strategy to gain more attention for Mohbad’s case. According to him, the group later agreed to share her message across their individual social media pages.

This development comes after music producer Samklef disclosed how VDM allegedly gained access to the leaked WhatsApp conversations, fueling the ongoing controversy.
