After fulfilling their bail conditions, singer Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and his close associate, Samson Erinfolami Balogun, also known as Sam Larry, were released by the Lagos State Police Command.
Both men were released on Friday evening November 17. On Monday, November 6, 2023, a Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, Lagos State, granted the couple bail in the sum of N20m with three responsible responsibilities.
Naira Marley and Sam Larry were detained and charged with participation in the death of Naira Marley’s former signee, Mohbad, who died in suspicious circumstances on September 12.
On November 6, the court granted them bail. The magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, told the defendants to submit their passports and ordered that they are to report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.
