Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo is currently at the center of a growing controversy after a video emerged online showing a group of men protesting against her involvement in the ongoing case surrounding the late singer Mohbad.

Earlier, lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye, who represents May Edochie, disclosed that certain individuals were allegedly planning to go after Iyabo due to her role in the investigation. He also offered her legal advice, prompting fans to urge the actress to take his counsel seriously.

In the viral clip, six men can be seen protesting on the streets while holding placards. They carried large portraits of Iyabo Ojo, Wunmi (Mohbad’s wife), and the late Mohbad, chanting curses and expressing their displeasure over the situation.

The protest sparked divided opinions online. Some netizens speculated that the protest was staged, possibly orchestrated by activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as VDM, or Sam Larry. Others argued that Iyabo may have drawn the heat by getting involved in a matter they believe did not directly concern her.

Despite the controversy, many supporters have stood by Iyabo Ojo, offering prayers and calling on authorities to ensure her safety.

Meanwhile, VDM continues to post interviews with individuals connected to Mohbad, aiming to uncover the truth behind the singer’s final days. In a recent interview, Karimot, Mohbad’s sister-in-law, accused Naira Marley of wrongdoing and shared disturbing details about what allegedly happened during a music video shoot involving the late artist.
