Mofe Duncan, a Nollywood actor, has denied false claims that he was shading his colleague, Angela Okorie, over the pronunciation of Basmati Rice.
Recall that the actor previously stated to whoever it may concern that it is not named “Bamatic Rice” but “Basmati Rice.” Given that the actress once referred to Indian subcontinent rice as Basmatic rice, many assumed his comment was directed at her.
In response, Mofe Duncan criticized bloggers who sought to incite conflict between him and his companion since he was not referring to her. He explained that he was targeting staff of restaurants and fast-food chains.
His words: “YOU BLOGGERS JUST LIKE TO START TROUBLE… @REALANGELAOKORIE IS MY GEE AND I WASN’T REFERRING TO HER. I DIDN’T MENTION HER NOR DID I TAG HER… I WAS SPEAKING TO THE STAFF OF FAST FOOD JOINTS AND RESTAURANTS. YOU PEOPLE SHOULD REST IN THE NAME OF THE LORD. I haven’t seen the video y’all are talking about!! Me just dey talk my own! @realangelaokorie is my gee and I don’t shade my gees… except maybe @deyemitheactor. You bloggers should rest abeg… I’m looking for fuel biko!”
