Tunde Ednut, a famous blogger, is overjoyed when his buddy and activist, VeryDarkMan, was released from police custody yesterday.
You may recall that on March 22, Nigerian police arrested VeryDarkMan on accusations of cyberbullying Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh. His arrest came after a heated online exchange with Bobrisky, a controversial transgender.
Following his arrest, facts concerning the high bond conditions for his release were made public online.
Tunde Ednut, who had anticipated the return of the social media critic, celebrated his return on his Instagram page.
He said that, despite his refusal to give names, powerful guys stood with VeryDarkMan during his arrest with the police.
He wrote: “Don’t Plaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! Welcome back home…. Men dey behind scene. You enter, dem go comot you. Strong men dey! Make I no mention too many names…. 🤣 You can know some of them from my previous post.”
