Through her lawyers, Graylaw Partners, May issued a cease-and-desist notice dated August 19, 2025, accusing Yinka of defamation, cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and malicious falsehoods.
According to the letter, Yinka allegedly made damaging and misleading statements about May on social media, which her lawyers described as “ridicule, unwarranted and harmful behavior, and malicious threats.” They further stated that Yinka’s actions not only defamed May but also encouraged third parties to spread false claims, amplifying the damage to her reputation.
