Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi has sounded a strong caution to Christians about one of life’s biggest decisions: marriage.
Sharing on her Instagram page, the actress declared that tying the knot with someone who does not share the Christian faith amounts to “self-destruction.”
She explained that many people become distracted by appearance, wealth, or social status while ignoring the spiritual core of marriage.
Eucharia wrote:
“How can you as a woman or man of God, believer, or operating a ministry consider marrying an unbeliever someone who is spiritually impotent, a spiritual imbecile? You have bought the weapon to destroy yourself, being a believer marrying an unbeliever. Don’t let the sweetness of carnality blindfold you to the true foundation for marriage, which is spirituality and fear of God.”
This is not the first time the veteran actress has faced public reaction over her unconventional style of evangelism. Earlier in the year she drew attention when she carried a Bible onto the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) red carpet.
Undeterred, Eucharia continues to use her platform to preach moral and spiritual lessons. In another viral clip, dressed in a leopard-print outfit, she passionately urged party lovers to stop “dancing with the devil,” warning that nightclubs are not places to find peace or purpose.
