Reports reveal that about 1,600 schools specially made to train men to become good husbands in marriage have been established in Burkina Faso.
One of the students reported to have enrolled in the studies is Mr. Gnoumou, who expressed satisfaction in attending the discussions.
According to Mr. Gnoumou, the school has transformed his behavior in his marriage.
He said,
“I would often fight with my wife and even hit her,”
“When you hit someone, you are aware that what you have done is not right.”
One of the instructors Martine, said this about Mr. Gboumou.
Today, he offers a lot more help around the home, He fetches water and wood, and does other household chores. And he hopes to inspire other men, as well.
