Man Lays Curses On Killers of Only Brother and Pregnant Sister-in-Law

A Nigerian man, Cornell Israel, has publicly cursed the killers of his only brother, Obinna, and sister-in-law, Ifenyinwa, who were murdered by unknown gunmen in Imo State.

The couple, both aged 34, were among seven people shot dead on July 24, 2025, in Arondizuogu, Ideato Local Government Area. The victims included shop owners, customers, and passersby caught in the attack.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, August 7, Cornell revealed that Ifenyinwa was pregnant with their fifth child at the time of the tragic incident. The couple is scheduled to be buried on Friday, August 8, in Abia State.

Grieving and enraged, Cornell placed a curse on those responsible, declaring that no member of their families would live beyond the age of 34.

“Obinna, my only brother from the same womb and your wife, you were my second in command in our lovely family, u and I do put heads together to tackle family responsibilities, we planned how to carry out our new project this August before bandits shot you to d3ath with your wife alongside with others right in your shop at Arondizuogu in Imo state on Thursday July 24th at 8:34 pm, according to eye witness,” he wrote.

“The news came to me that same night at 2am. I couldn’t believe it till I came next morning and saw you lying lifeless with your pregnant wife. It wasn’t your fault, had it been u were sick, money would bring u back to life, had it been they shot you on the leg I know where I would take u to and treat you so that you will be alive to take care of your 4 children and be alive for me and our parents too, but they turn me an only son overnight, with tears in my eyes.

“It will never be well with them even to their 6th generation no soul in their family will cross 34 yrs of age, may your blood, your wife and that of her unborn child cry against them Rest in peace bro, rest in peace, rest in peace bro till we meet to part no more I will try to bear this fuckup with Christian fortitude.”
