A Nigerian man has taken to social media in distress, claiming that soldiers from the Nigerian Army invaded his newly built, multi-million naira home in Benin, Edo State. According to him, the military personnel destroyed his fence and inflicted serious damage on the fully furnished property.
In a now-viral TikTok video, the young man visibly shaken shared footage of the destruction while recounting the traumatic experience.
“See the house I just finished building. They destroyed the fence and broke the building,” he said. “As a young boy trying to make something out of life, the Nigerian Army came and demolished my house.”
He alleged that his house was the only one targeted in the area, claiming that other buildings were untouched. “How will anyone cope in this country?” he asked, his voice filled with frustration and pain.
The video has sparked massive reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing outrage and sympathy, calling for answers and accountability over the alleged incident.
