A South African man has apologised after sharing Pastor Joshua Mhlakela’s prophecy that the rapture would occur on September 23–24, 2025.

He admitted the date wasn’t revealed to him but only repeated the pastor’s claim.

Hundreds gathered in the woods to await the event but dispersed when nothing happened.

Pastor Mhlakela later told his followers the rapture could still happen on the 24th, citing “time difference.”
