A man in Delta state was made to drink water used in washing his brother’s corpse to prove he had no hand in his death. According to Sapele Oghenek, he was compelled by family members to drink the water to prove his innocence.
Sapele Oghenek wrote;
“Report enter studio say na last weekend dem go bury Mechuko for deir village. We hear and wash one video wey the family members for compel deir brother to drink the corpse water,wey dem use wash the deadibody,as
tradition demands,in case e hand dey Mechuko death,make ground for chop am. Na d picture of when e dey drink d water dey attached to this update.”
