Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a renowned Nigerian economist and Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), has expressed her best wishes to the Super Eagles ahead of their semi-final encounter against South Africa in the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Okonjo-Iweala, the former Nigerian Minister of Finance, expressed faith in the team’s talents and challenged them to win the semi-finals to proceed to the finals of the famous competition.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala encourages Super Eagles to fly in AFCON semi-final versus South Africa.
The Nigeria national football team (Super Eagles) will meet South Africa at Stade Bouaké in Bouaké, Ivory Coast.
Okonjo-Iweala expressed her support for the Super Eagles on her official Twitter profile on Tuesday.
She wrote;
