Olayika, the boss of Leo Records that promoted the late indigenous rap star Olaitan Olanipekun who went by the stage name is DaGrin, is dead.
The Record label that had its base in Magodo area of Lagos then discovered the late rapstar and nutured him until he gained popularity in the Nigerian Entertainment circle before he floated Mosofunyin Entertainment.
Olayinka was said to have complained of headache and he was taken to the hospital. But, before any concrete medical examination could be carried out, he gave up the ghost.
Many of his friends believe that his death must have been spiritual because he was healthy and sound before the complaint that finally killed him.
Before his death, we gathered he had moved his office from Magodo where Leo Records was known to be, to Ikosi also in Lagos. His burial has been fixed for a later date this month.
Late DaGrin was a well-known recording artiste, songwriter, rapper and performer who lost his life after he had an accident in 2010.
