A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share the terrifying ordeal of her sister’s abduction in Lagos, prompting widespread concern online.
The incident, which occurred on the evening of June 20, was detailed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) by @TeemarsBeauty. She narrated that her sister was kidnapped in Obalende by unknown individuals who later demanded a ₦2 million ransom for her release.
According to her, the kidnappers gained access to her sister’s mobile phone and started contacting people on her contact list, requesting money until the full amount was raised.
Thankfully, the victim was released around 3 a.m. at Iyanaworo in Lagos.
Her post read: “My sister was kidnapped yesterday evening and they demanded 2 million Naira. They took her from Obalende and called everyone on her phone, asking for money until the ransom was complete. They dropped her at Iyanaworo around 3 a.m. Last night was hell. Y’all stay safe.”
