The lady told BBC News Pidgin that she spent N400,000 on her journey to Libya with the help of an agency. As a result, she was forced to accept that when she arrived in Italy, she would labor to repay the agency £35,000 (N17 million).
Sharing her story, Becky disclosed how she endured the Libya road challenges and stayed in prison for two weeks with the hope of a better life in Italy but took it upon herself to return to Nigeria as the only work presented to her there was prostitution.
