“Save Me” showcases 2Baba’s signature storytelling through music, perfectly complementing the gripping and intense scenes from the To Kill A Monkey series. Adding to the collaboration, Adetiba’s Ghanaian husband and renowned music producer, Oscar Heman-Ackah, features on the track alongside the Afrobeats icon.

Sharing a teaser of the video on her social media page, Adetiba wrote:

“KAV presents the lead single and music video ‘SAVE ME’ by @oscarhemanackah & @official2baba … As featured on the ‘TO KILL A MONKEY’ Official Soundtrack Album.”

Meanwhile, a viewer sparked a conversation online, suggesting that actor Daniel Etim-Effiong would have been a better fit for Bucci Franklin Obuz’s role in the series, noting that his performance style might have delivered the character differently.
