In contrast to giving pastors their first income [first fruit], Kanayo O. Kanayo believes that a son’s first salary should be given to his father for his blessings, as is traditional.
The actor expressed his views, using his own son as a real example to back up his claim.
Recall that only a few days ago, the actor revealed that his son, Clinton Onyeze, had arrived on set to serve as an intern.
They finished the movie, and his son was paid N50k, from which Kanayo took N500 and prayed for the money and his son.
However, he added that the amount of money a parent may recover from their kid varies depending on the individual.
The veteran actor believes that this is the more proper way to do things, especially in the Igbo culture.
He also believes that it is important for the father to know the exact amount the child is earning so he can teach him financial management.
In his opinion, the father is a more important authority figure than the pastor to his child.
