There are strong speculations that the Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, may join the All Progressives Congress, APC, over the meeting he reportedly held with an Elder Statesman, and Nigeria first Aviation Minister, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi, at his country home, Ukpor, Nnewi South L.G.A., Anambra State.
The details of the meeting have not been made available, but in one of the video clips posted online, Kanu was seen receiving prayers from the Elder Statesman.
Sources said that Amaechi was consulted to sell the dummy of joining the APC to Kanu, in order to throw out his treasonable trial, pending before the court.
Recall, that the IPOB Leader had earlier called for election boycott across the “Biafra Land”, which included the upcoming Anambra Gubernatorial election, on November 18, until a referendum is conducted.
