Adeola Aderounmu, the brother of late actress Jumoke Aderounmu, confronted Funke Akindele in a Live video in which she answered his allegations of abandoning his sister.
Following the actress’ death, her brother confronted Funke Akindele for publicly grieving her while abandoning his sister in her last moments.
Calling her out on her fake love and hypocrisy, he stated that his sister had called Funke numerous times and reached out to her through her friends, but she did not show up.
In reaction, Funke Akindele broke down in tears on Instagram Live hours ago, bemoaning how she lost her mother, husband, and politics and is now attempting to rebuild her life.
Funke stated that when Jumoke was alive, she contacted Jide Awobona to inquire about her, and he responded by saying that Jumoke preferred that people call her for work opportunities. She said that she saw Jumoke’s brother write that she had abandoned the actress, which was incorrect. She revealed that she wrote him a message but received no response, and no one informed her that Jumoke was ill.
Responding to her Instagram live video, Adeola warned her to quit acting, claiming that the actress only contacted him after Jumoke had died. He stated it was silly for her not to have Jumoke’s phone number and asked why he had to contact her coworker, Jide Awobona, to reach the dead.
Noting how she is an actress, who is good at pretending, he admonished her to change towards people around her and do better.
In another post, he noted how the children of another colleague of Funke Akindele, who acted in her TV series ‘Jenifa Diary’, reached out to him to also spill on how the actress abandoned their mother. He shared a screenshot as proof. He wrote:
“You reached out when person don kpai and you expect me to reply? Are you saying you don’t have Jumoke’s number? So na Jide dey help you dey call am before? Cause you dey act give us for Live video now. Na actress you be ma, you no fit dey whine us? His change towards people around you do better”
If I dey lie the original Mama Oni Mama in “Jenifa’s children can’t be lying too o. The women sef don kpai o, I don’t wish you had I just want you to change and treat your staffs right!!”.
