A video surfaced online showing actress Regina Daniels’ mother Rita Daniels appealing to the river spirits following Junior Pope’s death.
Junior Pope died in a boat accident that occured at Anam River in Anambra state, as previously reported.
The river has been the topic of much controversy, with some believing that the river spirits were responsible for the catastrophe and needed to be appeased.
A video surfaced online showing Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita, along the riverfront wearing black and making a gloomy look.
The person who made the video claimed that she was praying to the water spirits for the deceased star.
Other people were also observed gathered near the shore.
