Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder and senior prophet of Christ MercyLand Deliverance Ministries (CMDM), has contributed almost N10 million to the family of Precious Ofurum, a late Nollywood sound engineer.
Owomowomo, as he is known, believes greatly in the power of communal good. He recognises that even modest acts of kindness may have a significant influence on the globe and make life simpler for those in need.
Remember that the mother of Precious Ofurum, who died in a boat accident, pleaded the Rivers State Government in a viral video to help her bring her son’s body home.
Recall that Precious, along with actor Junior Pope and three others, perished in a boat accident on April 10 while returning from a shooting location.
In the video circulating on social media, the woman could be seen asking for financial assistance while requesting that her son’s body be brought home for proper burial.
She said, “I call on the government and governor of Rivers State to come and help me. As I dey here I no well na that my son dey treat me, now no way to treat, no way to help for the family. Government make una help me.”
However, Prophet Jeremiah came through for her with the 10 million Naira donation, stating that he doesn’t want the woman to suffer and prayed that such thing never repeats again.
