Nollywood actor and lead pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Jimmy Odukoya, has strongly condemned the recent killings in Benue State, describing the tragedy as a “genocide” rather than isolated acts of violence.

Taking to Instagram, Odukoya expressed deep sorrow over the massacre that claimed over 200 lives in Yelewata, located in Guma Local Government Area. His emotional message echoed the pain and urgency many Nigerians are feeling in the wake of the attack.

He wrote; “My heart bleeds for the genocide unfolding in Benue. The blood of the innocent cries out from the earth for justice! How long will we remain silent while homes are reduced to crematoriums and fields become mass graves?”

Odukoya’s passionate outcry adds to the growing number of public figures and citizens calling for immediate government intervention, justice for the victims, and an end to the senseless killings plaguing parts of Nigeria.
