Actor Jigan Baba Oja of Nigeria has stated that he intends to sue musician Mohbad over his upcoming song, “Ask About Me.”
The song “Ask About Me” by singer Mohbad will be released on Friday, April 14, 2023. However, it appears that he has already run into trouble before the song is even released.
Jigan issues this threat after carefully reading the lyrics of the song snippet the former Marlian artist released, in which he made fun of the actor’s disability.
This is not the first time a song has been written to make fun of the artist because of his physical flaw. Asake was recently called out by Jigan for making fun of him in one of his well-known songs.
Jigan claims that he will sue Mohbad so as to serve as a lesson to others.
“I am taking this up against @iammohbad and I am going to charge him 100 million! This will sound like a big lesson to others!,” he wrote.
Mohbad and his boss Naira Marley have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
This comes after Mohbad who is signed under “Marlian Records” throws shade at Naira Marley on his new song “TIFF”.
The relationship between Mohbad and his record label boss, Naira Marley has been on the dead end as the former request to terminate his contract with Marlian music following numerous attack from Naira Marley.
Recall on October, 2022 Mohbad takes to his official Twitter handle where he cries out and claimed of being assaulted in the Marlian house. Sharing a video to prove his claim, the singer who wore a white singlet was seen with bruises on his back, neck, and hand.
Naira Marley in a post debunked Mohabd tweet as he noted that Mohbad was high on harmful substances and further described the incident as a “family affair”.
