IVD’s Estranged Sister-In-Law, Mama Jazz, Sends Support To Ailing Blessing CEO

  • Mama Jazz, sister of the late Bimbo Martins, has gained public attention for her kindness towards relationship therapist Blessing CEO.
  • Blessing CEO recently revealed she is battling stage 4 cancer through emotional Instagram videos.
  • In her videos, she expressed her fears and exhaustion while addressing skepticism from critics regarding her health condition.

Mama Jazz, the sister of the late Bimbo Martins who was married to Nigerian auto dealer IVD has drawn public attention after extending an unexpected act of kindness to relationship therapist Blessing CEO.

The development comes shortly after Blessing CEO disclosed that she is battling stage 4 cancer. In a series of emotional Instagram videos, she opened up about her fears and exhaustion, while addressing critics who doubted her condition. She admitted she was still trying to come to terms with the diagnosis but was preparing to seek medical care.

In a surprising show of support, Mama Jazz took to Instagram to reveal that she had donated ₦1 million toward Blessing CEO’s treatment. She also posted a screenshot confirming the transfer and explained that her foundation has consistently supported women battling cancer, offering them encouragement and care.

Part of her message read:

“In a world where pain could easily harden hearts, The President, Rotary Club of Wuse Central, Rtn Dr Folashade Samuels MD (@mamajazzz), embodies true strength, a rare kind of grace that not only gives, but forgives deeply… Today, we’re donating ₦1,000,000 as a symbol of support to @officialbblessingceo. For years, we’ve stood with over 500 women in their fight against cancer with hope, strength, and compassion.”

The gesture is particularly notable given the strained history between Blessing CEO and the Martins family. After Bimbo’s tragic death on October 15, 2023, Blessing publicly defended IVD, rejecting allegations of abuse and accusing Bimbo’s family especially Mama Jazz of targeting his wealth.

Her comments later led to legal issues, including a six-count charge involving cyberbullying, libel, and the publication of uncensored material. However, in 2024, Blessing publicly apologized to the Martins family, acknowledging her earlier claims were incorrect and asking for forgiveness.

Mama Jazz had also faced allegations of plotting against IVD, which she denied. Her recent donation to Blessing CEO now signals what many see as a possible turning point, suggesting a move toward reconciliation and compassion despite their past differences.
