Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 winner, Imisioluwa Eniola Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, celebrated her first birthday since gaining fame with a glamorous party on Tuesday, January 28.
The high-profile event was held in Lagos and attracted several celebrities and former BBNaija housemates, including Tacha, Phyna, Bisola Aiyeola, Kola, comedian Broda Shaggi, and actress Nkechi Blessing, among others.
What began as a joyful celebration, however, briefly turned emotional after an unexpected moment involving Nkechi Blessing. In a video that later went viral, the actress publicly asked Imisi if she would forgive her estranged mother. The question caused a noticeable pause, with Imisi and several guests appearing visibly uncomfortable, before the event host quickly redirected the conversation to ease the tension.
The incident is linked to an ongoing public dispute between Imisi and her mother, which surfaced in November 2025. The disagreement includes claims by Imisi of childhood abandonment, emotional trauma, and lack of financial support.
In response, Imisi’s mother has since denied the accusations, countering them with claims that her daughter currently provides for her financially.
A video circulating online captures the moment Nkechi Blessing posed the sensitive question to Imisi during the birthday celebration.
