In other news, An Ohio woman has filed a lawsuit against rapper Cardi B, claiming she was injured and humiliated after being struck by a microphone the artist threw during a 2023 Las Vegas performance.

The woman, identified as Jane Doe, alleges Cardi acted in anger after requesting the crowd splash her with water. According to the suit, Doe lightly tossed part of her drink, after which Cardi allegedly hurled a microphone directly at her, resulting in physical and emotional harm.

The lawsuit, filed in Nevada, also accuses Drai’s Beachclub of negligence, citing a similar microphone incident the night before. Doe claims the venue should have foreseen the risk.

Cardi’s legal team dismissed the suit as a “pitiful attempted financial shakedown,” noting the criminal case had already been closed due to insufficient evidence.
