A 300-level student of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has raised concerns after being asked to answer politically charged exam questions involving El-Rufai, Senator Natasha, Atiku, and Bola Tinubu.
This was revealed in a post shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
The student, with the handle @fado_maverick, expressed frustration that he was required to respond to questions based on the actions and inactions of Nigerian politicians, despite not being involved in any of their political decisions.
He humorously noted that he wasn’t responsible for forming a coalition of opposition involving Peter Obi, Atiku, and El-Rufai, nor did he have a hand in the suspension of Kogi Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Still, he encountered questions about them in his university examination.

2. – Mal. Nasir El-Rufai played a critical role in the success of the current administration, yet he is galvanising the North to unseat him in 2027. Analyse the above political phenomenon in relation to the struggle for the coming presidential election, using an appropriate political theory of your choice.
3. – The suspension of Senator Natasha from the Nigerian Senate is justified. Using the legal option of the traditional approach, justify the above assertion.
4. – Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused the PDP governors of playing the spoiler for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election. Analyse the above statement, relying on the propositions of John Higley and Michael Burton’s New Elite Theory.
5. – Write a detailed essay on ANY of the following theories, covering its core principles, key proponents, criticisms, and relevance to contemporary political events in Nigeria:
