Alexer Peres, the former wife of singer Harrysong, has announced that she will temporarily step back from caring for their two young children, aged four and three.

In an emotional video shared on her Instagram story on Thursday, Alexer explained that she has been handling parenting responsibilities on her own since their separation, while the children spend time with their father occasionally.

“I hadn’t planned to share this publicly, but I want people to understand that I’m making the hardest decision of my life. Right now, I feel like I have no other choice,” she said.

Alexer accused Harrysong of frequently interfering and causing distress, stating that he often appears unannounced, making it difficult for her to manage the children.

“He hasn’t given me any peace. He continually frustrates my efforts and harasses me wherever I go,” she added.

She also noted that while she plans to address any disputes legally, the emotional strain has become too much to bear.

“For the time being, I’m granting him custody. That doesn’t mean I won’t return for my children,” Alexer said, expressing concern about her children being left in the care of domestic staff when their father is unavailable.

“No mother wants to be apart from her children, but I’ve run out of options. I will always come back. I want to stay involved in their lives,” she added.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2021, have been candid about their marital challenges. Harrysong previously asked for privacy during their troubles, while Alexer publicly confirmed the end of their marriage in January 2024.
