Mavin Records’ boss, Don Jazzy, has once again shared insights into his single life, admitting that he is afraid of marriage a confession that has sparked online conversations.
While discussing love and relationships, the award-winning producer noted that he sometimes feels inspired when he sees happy couples on social media. However, he becomes uneasy after reading stories about divorce and failed marriages.
Don Jazzy explained that many men lose a large portion of their wealth during divorce, especially when no prenuptial agreement is involved.
“You will see someone that has worked all his life and now has to split his money because of divorce. I’m actually scared of those things. The money I have is for my generation,” he said, laughing.
The 41-year-old music executive also revealed that although he has dated before, he is currently single and patiently waiting for the right person.
“I’ve actually dated before. Currently, I’m single. I’m scared, though God’s time is the best. I just want the right person, even though I’m not sure if I’m the right person for somebody’s daughter,” he said.
Reacting to his remarks, one fan commented, “Baba don talk true. These divorce stories dey fear person.” Another joked, “Na Hakimi package baba wan run be that.” However, others encouraged him not to lose hope in love, saying the right woman will come at the right time.
Don Jazzy’s open and humorous personality continues to endear him to fans. Yet, it seems clear that the Mavin boss is not ready to gamble his hard-earned wealth in the name of love at least not yet.
