Ay Makun, a well-known stand-up comedian, calls for peace as he resolves a bitter dispute with Basketmouth, a former friend and coworker.
Recall that AY had previously spoken about their 17-year feud and how it began in an interview, but Basketmouth resisted his request for a settlement.
The topic was brought up once more in a recent comedy show as the comedian, whose real name is Richard Makun, sent a note of apology.
While citing instances like the 1990s dispute between Tupac Shakur and Big, he insisted that their relationship is not a rivalry.
AY Makun concluded the show by saying, “if you see Basketmouth, tell him he’s my gee for life.”
Veteran Comedian, Basketmouth, was recently a guest on media personality Nedu’s podcast, Honest bunch, and he had a lot to say about his lengthy spat with colleague, AY Makun.
Remember that Gistlover recently reported that AY shared his side of the story and what sparked his 17-year feud with his colleague.
According to AY, it was a case of a bad business transaction, and he made the incorrect option in his attempt to get his money back from Basketmouth.
The Filmmaker claimed that after the 2006 incident, he attempted to attend Basketmouth’s wedding but wasn’t allowed into the venue. According to AY, when they arrived, his wife’s name was on the guest list but his own was noticeably missing.
Baskemouth in new interview with Nedu addressed AY’s allegations against him, by giving exact details of what happened.
The comic star reteirated that he is by no means friends with Ay and he never invited him or his wife to his wedding.
His words;
“AY is not my friend, I didn’t invite him nor his wife to my wedding, they just came themselves. I only invited my friends”
