A Nigerian man has sparked political debate online after suggesting that Peter Obi should support Atiku Abubakar and accept the role of vice president if he truly wants a chance at political victory.
According to the man, Atiku’s long-standing experience in Nigerian politics gives him an advantage that Peter Obi currently lacks. He argued that Atiku has built strong momentum over the years, which, in his view, outweighs Obi’s political influence.
He added that if Peter Obi can put aside personal pride and align with Atiku, the combined strength of both politicians could pose a serious challenge to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Peter Obi must support Atiku and agree to be vice president if he wants to have a political win, Atiku has been in politics for a very long time, the momentum Atiku carries, Obi does not carry it, so if Obi can put his pride aside and support Atiku, they’ll put APC on a run” The man was heard sayining in the video
