Popular Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has opened up about his plans to step away from music in the future.

The hip-hop star disclosed that he intends to retire once every member of his rap collective, Anti World Gangstars, achieves success in the music industry. Sharing his thoughts via X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “Once all my nggas make it in music, I’m out.”*

The Anti World Gangstars group is made up of five rappers Odumodublvck, Agunna, Fatboy E, Reeplay, and Shagba alongside their producer and engineer, Cross.

Currently, Odumodublvck is the breakout star of the crew. He shot to prominence with his 2023 hit single “Declan Rice”, which he has described as “the most impactful Nigerian hip-hop song ever.” Over the last three years, he has collaborated with A-list acts, including Davido, as well as British rappers Skepta and Stormzy.

Despite his growing fame, other members of the collective are yet to gain mainstream recognition, even with the exposure his success has brought to the group.
