‘I Was Wrong’- Oladips Admits Fault, Seeks Reconciliation With Reminisce in New Song

  • Oladips has ended his long-running feud with Reminisce, admitting fault and seeking peace through his new song Iba Paris 26.
  • The rapper said failed private attempts to reconcile pushed him to address the issue publicly, marking a reflective shift after years of industry tension.

Nigerian rapper Oladips has reconciled with his former label boss, Reminisce, ending years of public tension and lyrical exchanges.

In his new song, Iba Paris 26, Oladips admitted he was wrong and expressed regret over how their relationship ended. He said repeated attempts to reach Reminisce privately failed, prompting him to use music as his final avenue for reconciliation.

“I tried to make contact severally but it didn’t work. This is me saying it openly,” he said in the track.

Oladips began his career under LRR/EDGE Records, owned by Reminisce, but their relationship later deteriorated. In 2019, Oladips publicly complained about hardships while signed to the label, despite having successful songs, and accused the label of blocking his exit.

The dispute spilled into interviews, social media and music, with both artistes exchanging perceived diss tracks over the years. Oladips has previously said the feud negatively affected his career and industry relationships.

However, his latest release reflects a calmer tone, as he credits personal growth and life lessons for his decision to seek peace and closure.

In other news,…. Apostle Arome Osayi has sparked widespread debate online after declaring that anyone aged 21 or above who has never spoken in tongues continuously for six hours is “living a joke.”

The statement, made during a recent sermon, quickly drew mixed reactions across social media. According to the cleric, speaking in tongues is a critical spiritual discipline that reflects growth, alignment with God’s purpose, and life breakthrough.

He urged young Christians to take the practice seriously, warning that neglecting it could affect their destiny.

While some viewed his remarks as a call to deeper spiritual commitment, others criticised them as extreme and discouraging. Many argued that speaking in tongues, though important to some believers, should not be used as a measure of success or spiritual worth.

Social media users reacted sharply to the comment.

One user wrote, “So speaking in tongues now guarantees making it in life??? Naaah this Pastor is actually a joke!”

Another added, “Speaking in tongues is not the license to heaven.”

Others responded with sarcasm, with a user joking, “21 without other tongues? Your destiny na pure comedy show!”
