Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, professionally known as Kie Kie, a famous Nigerian content producer, has stated that when she was a spinster, she was already living with Tunji Ilori, the guy she married.
She made the decision to live with him while they were engaged because her house rent was due to expire months before their wedding.
In a recent episode of her podcast, Toke Moments, Kiekie opened up to media personality Toke Makinwa.
According to the mother of one, she was a member of her church choir when she and her husband were cohabiting in the same house despite the fact that they had not yet married, and the church was unaware.
She said: “My husband and I started living together before we got married because my [house] rent was already due. My rent was due in September, and we were going to get married in January.
So, I can’t renew my rent. And we had done our introduction by then. The church wasn’t aware that we were already living together. I was even singing in the church choir then.”
The comedienne further revealed that she was initially scared of getting married but eventually did after a series of prayers.
