Kunle Afolayan’s daughter, Eyiyemi, has expressed her aspiration.
She revealed that she aspires to be a greater filmmaker than her father.
In a recent interview with Channels TV, the young actress, who played Princess Omowunmi in the award-winning film ‘Anikulapo’, discussed her aspirations.
When asked if she feels intimidated by her family’s cinematic heritage, the 18-year-old expressed confidence that she can outperform her father and grandfather.
“Not particularly because I look up to my dad a lot. Since I was a child he has always shown us the way. I have watched my grandpa’s movies. And I can see that there is definitely a development from the way my father used to make his movies to how my dad used to make his movies,” she said.
“And I know that in a few years to come I am going to be a very big filmmaker myself and I am going to do better by God’s grace. By then technology will be advanced.”
